How do you know if one of your lamp sockets are bad? The symptoms will be that one or two lamps don't light. This symptom can indicate a bad lamp, starter, ballast, or lamp socket. Check lamp sockets for damage. It will appear melted or blackened. It may also have a loose wire. We recommend keeping one or two of each end on stock for emergencies.
